chrony's?
what would people like more in a chrony m/s or f/s and features

Since velocities are usually (in the U.S.A. at least) given in feet per second in reloading manuals and ammo makers' brochures, I'd vote for F/S.

Meters are for sissies. FPS has worked fine for many years in this Country and is a much bigger number than MPS, so it is more impressive. [:o)] 0 -

Feet/second or Meters/second doesn't really matter if you've passed the 7th grade and can use a calculator, but the features I wanna see are;
Store and display multiple strings with highest velocity on top, SD second, and Avg Velocity of the string next. Also a printer with Bluetooth and a storage system for reloading recipes with a powder menu and specific maps for bullets of any weight, primers of any make, and a separate database for each caliber.
Other than that, I can't think of a thing.

who cares,...I have a calculator either way.
a remote display and control panel is a great option and the printer if you wish to spend that much, makes it so you don't have to remember to record the data each time.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

My amp also goes to "11". And for similar reasons I always measure my bullet velocity in inches per minute.
Anyway, the American standard is FPS. All else being equal, if I could only choose one, I'd pick that one.
Otherwise as everyone said above, you just use your calculator and either:
Divide the MPS by 3.28
Or multiply it by .3048. . .no sweat.
But of course, all else is NOT "equal". if the chrono is really good you should be able to choose your favorite units of display, either fps or M/sec. It also would be nice if your chrono could display kinetic energy, momentum (power factor), and generate trajectory data too. For accuracy purposes, being able to generate statistical data about strings might be helpful, and the ability to printout hard copies is a boon too.0
