Need Help with ID of a pistol
We have a pistol that has CCCP markings on both grips. It has the letters & numbers of an upside-down U, then K350 a star & the date 1939. The same numbers are on top of the slide. It has a half cock safety. It has strap loops on left grip & on bottom of the clip. If you have any information about this pistol, I would appreciate it. Thank you, Tate

Your pistol is a Russian Tokarev. It's chambered for the 7.62 x 25mm pistol cartridge, which is also known as the 30 Mauser pistol cartridge.
This was the standard sidearm of Russia and many of the other East Bloc countries for many years.

The gun doesn't look like that, I found a TT33 online & it looks like it, but it says that the star & CCCP is only on 1 side. The pistol we have has a star with CCCP on both sides. The grips are black & are non removable. Thank you, Tate 0 -
Tate, the pic in Rufe's post is a Luger, it's part of his signature.
If the pistol looks like this pic then it is going to be a Tokarev or clone

Thank you all for responding, the gun looks like the second picture, but it has black grips & it has the star on both sides with CCCP. It has quite a few stars on the gun, on the trigger, no safety. Thank you all again, Tate 0 -

Tokarov grips are held on with a "internal lever arrangement". When the magazine has been removed, a screwdriver is used ( Very Carefully ) to move the lever that is visable, inside the magazine well. This disengages the levers from cutouts in the frame, and enables the grips to be removed.0
