What's up with SIAGA firearms?

I had heard that they were going to be imported again back in the early Spring. Has anyone seen any new ones for sale or have any information on the status of these guns? I would like to find a nice Siaga carbine in .223 or .308. What is the going price for one in excellent or better condition? I've already searched the auction sites. Not many listed/sold lately. If you own one or bought one recently, how do you like it and what are they selling for in your part of the world? I already own several AK models and a Ruger Mini, I just liked the simple design and thought it might be a fun gun to own and shoot.

    I was wondering the same thing. Magazine prices have skyrocketed. I wonder if EAA will be the importer or if someone else is servicing the contract.

    They had the great misfortune of agreeing to have EAA import their firearms. EAA seems to screw up everything.

    I imagine they are a casualty of Remington taking over importation of the Russian guns under the Spartan name. I don't think they are interested in the semi-auto guns.

    Yes they are back. RSR wholesale (Distributor) has them. They are imported by Tennessee Guns or something like that. Prices went up as usual. EAA was affected by the Remington buyout. I have two in stock. 7.62 and a .223.

    That still doesn't explain EAA's poor customer service in regard to their Italian Tanfoglio line.

    I heard this on another board.

    "Per Izhmash, there is a company called Russian American Arms out of KY that will be the new importer for the Saiga line once they get their ducks in a row with ATF.
    Remington is bringing in the IZH-series single-barrel, o/u and SxS shotguns (the "Baikal" line) as their "Spartan by Remington" brand."

    Remington = SXS and OU only. This new shop will supposedly bring in the full Saiga line.

    I need to get me a 308 Saiga.
