brushes n bores

Hi guys

I did my little brush and metal experiment AFTER talking to

Shilen in Ennis Tx and Remington Custom Shop. They said, Dont

use brushes , ammonia cleaners, or bore pastes. After my little

experiment I could see why Shilen and Remington give the advice

they do.

Hmm,

I have a custom barrel also and the company told me to use a brush only after like 150 to 200 rounds, and only a few strokes. If I use like Sweets to only patch it through and get it out ASAP. Everyone has their own lil way of cleaning that they swear by. Whatever works.

Please post a link to your previous topic so I cn follow your point. I have a dial up modum and it takes FOREVER to load older pages.
