Cowboy Six shooter

Following up on my question on what six shooter to buy from a couple of days ago, I finally bought a Ruger Bisley vaquero stainless,
The gun is used but looks like new.

    The more you shoot the more you'll find you can get something within your budget. The minute I hear someone talking about selling I pounce.

    Can this caliber be used in cowbow action competitions?

    Some, but not ALL of the various Cowboy Shooting organizations will allow the 357. I would just call or get online and ask when you find out which organization is closest to your locale.

    Yes, the SASS 2005 handbook says any pistol caliber .32 or above and I know for certain that they allow .38Spl. so you can always shoot that in your .357Mag. revolver.
