Need help identifying Antique gun!

This gun has an octagon barrel, inside and outside. When the barrel is taken out, "14 Juni 1836" is inscribed in it. It's a percussion gun. On the side (near where the hammer would be) it looks like "Hagel" or something inscribed there. And on the top of the barrel it says, "Ni Colditz". (At least that's what we can make out of it.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. We think it could be either a Finish or German gun.

  It would be best if you could post quality photos. At the very least give us specific physical diamensions and what type of gun your talking about?
  
  That type of "octagon" rifleing originated in Europe and was used by the British in their "Brunswick" rifles of the 1840's, until they adopted the French Minie pattern rifles in the 1850's.

  Juni is German for June, so it's probably German or has some link to a German company.
