P9R HP made in Hungary ---Question

I got this as a gift from an elderly friend that wanted to give his guns to a good home. It is new in the box but I know little about it other than it is a Browning HP knock off, I would like to make some changes to it like, some checkerd or packmire grips but do not know if they (Browning HP) will fit, also will the browning mags fit this model? Any other info would be appreciated

  The regular High Power magazines fit in the FEG version.
  As to other parts' interchangeability (including grips), I can't say. I have a Hungarian High Power and all I know about internal parts is that the buffers sold for the regular High Power pistols don't fit in mine. Of course, I don't know how well they fit in an FN High Power, for that matter.
