Ak-22 Conversion to 7.62??

Im swaying towards the answer is no but can you convert ak-22 to a 7.62?

  Probably, if you replace the receiver, barrel, bolt, springs, sear, trigger group, etc.
  
  You can purchase a .22LR conversion kit for the AK but I have no knowledge of going upwards. (Forgive my smarta*s answer).

  The AK22 is just made to LOOK like an AK47. Inside it's totally different, as Hairy so eloquently pointed out. It MIGHT be possible to convert an AK22 to .17 Mach 2 with a new barrel. I don't know how safe it would be.
