Old guns...... looking for worth ....

I have a few old firearms and i am interested in some estimated worths of them. Here is what i have:

Remington Automaster 878 12 ga Ducks Unlimited Edition won at a show in the 80's i believe. Never been fired and is in perfect condition.

Winchester Model 1897 12 ga pump action. A few nicks and scratches i would say bout 90% condition. Do not know the year but is very old.

This one is tricky. I was told it is a british enfield .303 but it does not say it anywhere. It has a shield by the trigger plate that says Lithgow SHT.LE (roman numeral 3) 1919. Stamped on the Butt of the rifle is C.MI. 3.M.D FR 71280. This a bolt action rifle that holds a small clip of maybe 5-6 shots. It was also used in WW1 or WW2. it is in decent condition but has some nicks here and there 90% condition.

Winchester 30/30 Model 94 30 W.C.F Excellent condition near mint. I am not sure what year it is but here is the serial number: 1606502 V.

M-49 .22 cal short,long,long rifle Ithaca Gun Company Single shot lever action 22. It is in about 85-90% condition. A few blemishes on the barrel but can be restored easily. Which i will prolly do anyway. Once again not sure of the year but serial is: 148154.

    First off,WELCOME TO GB!!

    Now,the Remington and the Enfield I can't help with,but the Mod 94 was made in 1949.It's value is gonna depend on a lot of things that someone else will have to decifer.

    Same with the 1897.Too many different variations to pinpoint a value without more info.

    The Ithaca's gonna be worth in the $65-$75 range

    Stick around,someone will come along that knows what questions to ask.

    I don't have any references here, but if memory serves me the Remington 878 was only made about 3 years in the early 1960's. No collector value in the standard model but they are reliable in my experiences. mw

    The Enfield was produced at the Lithgow Arsenal in Australia..About 50 miles from Sydney...A very interesting to visit....

    Hello torbeck...

    The Model 1897 can be dated by the serial number... and it is important to know when it was made. It is also important to know what the barrel length is, and how it is choked. Your answers will help to determine an estimated value.

    The Model 94 was manufactured in late 1949, and in NRA Excellent condition, it is worth about $500 - $550.

    torberk, looks like no one wants to talk about the 878. That gun is very similar to the Rem. 58 and is uncommon, especially in a DU model.I've only seen a couple of 878's and I've spent a lot of time at skeet and trap ranges and in the field hunting. If you could find a DU model gun collector I'd guess it might bring 500 bucks or so. Bobski, what do you think?
