SAKO rings ??????

I have a 20-25 year old Sako rifle.I am trying to rig it with a leupold VX-II, 50mm scope... I have existing low rings, but the 50mm bell won't get up off the barrel.. The areas milled on the receiver for rings are fore and aft of the ejection port are tapered and checkered... Where do I go to get a set of high rings for this old thing...Are they still manufactured?? If not, does anyone have a set they'll sell??

  Leupold makes these rings and Brownells lists them in their catalog,
  a lot cheaper than Sako brand.
