Stevens model 200
just wondering if anyone knows if i can find a bull barrel for my stevens model 200 chambered in .223 or if i can put the savage accu-stock on it or the accu-trigger since stevens rifles are made by savage

I was just looking at a local dealers advertisment for a Stevens model 200 in several calibers such as 243,270,etc. for $279.00.
I have no idea when they started making these rifles but my question is are they a good buy or just a cheap low quality rifle??
I wonder if the trigger is adjustable??

The Stevens line that falls under the Savage umbrella has a new offering that's worth a look. The Model 200 is essentially a Savage bolt-action quality gun, minus the AccuTrigger. The Model 200 features a gray synthetic stock with a button rifled free-floating barrel. The MSRP is $316.00. Look for the street price on this rifle to be under $300 though. I have not shot one myself, but a customer at the range last weekend had one in .270 with about $125 worth of BSA scope and rings on it and even though he was still breaking it in, it produced bench groups in the 1 MOA category. Nice economy gun in my view and well worth the money.

Same gun as a 3 year old savage 10 or 110 with a cheaper stock. Great value, locally they are $260 new.
