advice on xp100

I installed a rem 700 sear safety cam and cocking piece in a Xp100;
will not stay cocked when safety is moved to off-safe. Are the parts
not compatible? They look the same. Any Xp100 experts, etc.

First of all,let me be the first to welcome you to GB!!

Now,

The XP100 uses the model 600 action,not the 700.
'Course I'm not sure that these parts aren't the same,but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who knows.

And remember,there's no such thing as a stupid question,just stupid answers.[;)]

Charlie,
I looked in Numrich's to compare part #'s of the sear safety cam and they show different #'s for the 600,700 and the XP100.
