varmint scope-.243
i was looking at ATN scope and noticed most of them had bullet drop cams. i planned on reloading my own .243 ammo for my varmint gun. should i still concider looking at ATN?

The bullet drop cams are not a exact science, so I wouldn't worry about loading your own ammo if you buy the scope. If your close to the BDC velocity
your in good shape.

NOPE[8] Buy a good peice of glass with target knobs and/or drop points. You can not manufacture a scope which will fit any rifle in a chosen caliber, there are tooooo many variables. Sight in with your crosshair, run a balistics table, and CLICK to the target. BDC don't work unless you EXACTLY match their MV variable.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

ATN is junk. Do a search on Sniperhide.com for reviews. NOTHING but BAD things said about those scopes. ATN = Another Thing Not Working.
JUSTC, nailed it, get a regular scope with target turrets ie Loopy Mark 4s or Nightforces. Run a dope sheet and go from there.0 -
The only drop compensator I would use, if you can get a decent one for what you want to pay, is a Mil-Dot. Learn how to use it, Most of your adjustments will be with the scope. But, holdover is common with them, you just have to know(or have a range card) what to drop. -Good Luck
