Erma and Stoeger 22 pistol questions

My wife is new to pistol shooting and I want to get her a 22lr pistol to get her used to it before she upgrades to one of my other guns. I would like to get her someting with similar function and feel to my guns so she can upgrade to a familiar gun. I was looking at the following and need peoples opinions on how good of a gun each one is.

1. I am looking at either a Stoeger or Erma made 22 luger. Which one is a better gun?

2. I have a Walther PP so I was also looking at the Erma/Excam RX22. How good are these?

    I have both the Stoeger and the Erma and would recommend the Stoeger. It's better quality and parts are easier to come by.

    correctemundo hairy.....always thought the stoeger had a better appearance

    rats ...can't think of it all at once......these luger clones in 22 had some trouble with the clips....have to get the lips tweaked just right & be careful about dropping them

    Neither would be my choice for a woman &/or a new shooter. I think that a S&W 422/622 would be a better choice: light, easy slide to work, reliable, & well made.
