sig 9mm question

looking at the different sig models in 9mm.i went too there site but hopefully someone can clear this up for me.whats the difference in the p226,p228 and p229?what are your thought on the police trade-ins that are out there right now?thanks don

  i think it is barrel lenght, and mag size, the trade in ones i saw looked good, little worn from holster.

  226 full sized 15 rounds in mag.

  229 sub compact the bigest differance is that the slide is stainless steel. Slide is also slightly diffrent in design. I do not recall 9mm capacity on the 229.
