Ruger Mk I vs Mk ii
What's the difference? (I have a Mk I, 6" tapered barrel, target sights.)

Mark 2 Has a slide hold open after the last shot is fired. Magazines have the load button on op. side but you can switch the button to make the magazine work in both . 0 -
There are three differences listed- scalloping out the rear of the frame by the bolt grips, the hold open on last shot feature and a button to release the magazine, but all these features pale in comparison the the difference in the triggers. The older guns have a trigger that lets off at about one pound and very accurate shooting can be had- whereas the newer ones are the typical legal types that require an act of congress to get the gun to shoot. 0
