whats it worth?
i have a model 27 s/w 357 6" configuration in the presentation case with all tools, appx. 90% or better, however it also has a companion cylinder for 357/44 bain and davis. I have also acquired all the dies, brass, reloading manuals,etc for the 357/44 cartridge. i know what i have spent, but whats it worth or is beauty in the eye of the beholder.

Hello this is the classic 22 target rifle. I know I will get flamed on this but it makes a Winchester model 52 look like it was made by a blacksmith and the remington like it was made by a watchmaker. just look at the magazinem stamped VS. milled. It would be worth more IMHO with the orginal stock but maybe others feel different. with scope and iron sights I think scope is worth ball park of $450.00 and rifle $750.00 0 -
according the my gunsmith the stock is worth more than the rifle. i had him glass bed the stock about 3-4 years ago but he left the spot where the stock maker signed his name...i will have to take the rifle out of the stock and see what the guys name is and post it on here. so does anyone else have an opinion on weather or not i should insure it? and if so is there a certain company i should go through or do most insurance agencies handle stuff like that? i've never really insured anything other than cars etc so i'm new in that area. thanks in advance 0 -
Hello If you have a homeowner policy it will cover a small amount on fire arms but some companys will write a RIDER policy "state farm" charges you $2.00 per $100.00 dollars you get to pick value in other words you can value it for $5000.00 and it would cost you $100.00 dollars a year.I would be interested in stock makers name. 0
