Springfield 64F question
Found a good looking Springfield 67F .410 pump today. I had them set aside for me. I can pick it up for $75 out the door. Seems to be in good working order. I has a little rust on the magazine tube and a little on the barrel. What collectors value do these have and what kind of value do they have? Thanks in advance.

I not familiar with the specific model, ( 64F ). Springfield is/was a "Trade Name" used by Savage on some of their inexpensive "Hardware Guns". If it's functional and you don't have to put any more money in it for parts or repairs, $75 seems to be a fair price. In the condition you describe, it's doubtful if there would be any collectors demand/value.

I think what he's referring to is a Savage "Springfield" 67F 12ga. 'U.S. Riot' - is it marked 'riot shotgun?' It's a Viet Nam era shotgun ... I have one 'out on exteneded loan,' at the moment. It was an old friend during Tet '68!0 -
Acttually .41 was a typo. It's a Springfield 67F .410 pump. Ruff is right. I was thinking that it was a better deal than that, but I guess not. Guess I'll get it for the son.
