Scope sight picture = NO GOOD!

Recently I mounted a Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14 x 40 scope on my Bushmaster A3. I cannot seem to get a good sight picture without completely crushing my cheek into the stock. I used Warne high rings, but still this didn't help. Any ideas?

    Sounds like you have the same problem I do.With me it's the Monte Carlo style stocks,but your's should be OK.[:)]

    You'll need to add a riser under the scope rings to bring the scope up.

    Brownells has several different ones, just do a search for "ar15 riser" in there search area.

    There is no pleasure in having nothing to do;the fun is having lots to do and not doing it.

    Brownells www.brownells.co carries (2) different products that will help you with your problem.

    1), "Risers" that elevate the scope above the top of the receiver.

    2), "Cheekpieces" that raise the height of the comb.

    You might get the needed height by using "see-through" rings since they're about 3/8" higher than high rings. The risers work ok but usually only work with picatinny or weaver rails. I'm not sure either is interchangeable with warne rings.
