10/22 in 22 magnum - $?

Anybody have any experience with the Ruger 10/22 in 22 magnum caliber? I read where it has a steel receiver and the pictures look good. What would I expect to have to pay to get one? And who sells them? Thanks.

  One listed on the auctions for about $350.00 Steel reciever and great guns. As always a heavy trigger pull on factory Rugers.

  Mine was a jam-o-matic. Sold it and bought a Marlin bolt action.

  I have one, and I love it. Just for kicks, I put a Tasco World Class 3X9 X50mm scope on it. It shoots incredible groups.
  As far as ammo goes it likes everything I have fed it, except CCI maxi mags. The trigger can be helped by polishing all mating surfaces. It ain't a Volquartsen, but it beats the factory. POLISH don't file.
