Taurus Tracker grips followup w/pic
Last week I had posted a topic about Taurus Tracker after market grips and just wanted to share this. I had a hard time finding grips to replace the "Ribber" grip that it came with. The ribber was OK as far as a factory grip goes, but I just did not like the way it snagged on my clothing when I went to draw it. I was thinking about smooth walnut, nylon or polymer. Today at the Dixie Classic gunshow in Richmond, VA. I found a Hogue dealer that had a grip for it(model 73000). Apparently Hogue just recently came out with it. I have never had a Hogue grip before, but I got to say, I am impressed! It is a soft rubber grip like the ribber, but it is not "sticky" when drawing. It was $24 after tax and if any of you out there are not happy with the factory grip on your Tracker, this is a nice grip. $24 well spent[:D][:D]

I'm a big fan of Hogue grips. Got 'em on two of my Rugers, the MKII and the SBH. I'd put them on my Smith 28 if I could bear to remove those purty factory (cocobolo?) grips.
