Llama Micromax Questions

I can buy a like new two-tone chrome and blue Llama Micromax in .380 caliber with box and 2 magazines for $125. Worth it, or a waste of money? What's your experience with these?

    I have an older version of the Micromax.....the Llama IIIA. I've had mine for over 30 years, and love it. That having been said, Llama has a reputation for uneven quality.

    It's about a 2/3 scale replica of the M1911A1, and one of the few .380s that fires from a locked breech. With the exception of having an external extractor, it breaks down exactly as does the 1911.

    A Micromax in "like new" (98% condition) Blue Books at $220, so I don't see how you can go much wrong for $125.

    I'd say, go for it!

    Thanks for your information. I put a down payment on it. As you said, for the money, I can't lose much. I have a similar one in .22 caliber. It's picky about ammo, but with the right ammo, it is a decent gun.
