I am curious if anyone could give me a value on a JC Higgins Model 50 FN Mauser in .270 Winchester, please? Thanks.

As always the value is only what you can get someone to give you for it. But an approximation might be suggested if you provide info like the condition of: bore, blueing, stock, checkering, etc. Pictures would be best. Also what part of the country are you looking to sell it in? Different regions have different wants and demands. Assuming you are selling in a higher demand area, with a rifle in overall 90% condition I'd expect that you should be able to get between $250 and $450 for for it. Better condition/quality will get the higher end of the scale.

I agree. The value would only be as a using rifle. Buying one for the action would be false economy compared to the price of new Chas. Daly actions.
