RARE High Standard Victor???

I have a High Standard Victor with a "SH" prefix. The barrel is a "push button" takedown like the 107 series. The SH model was the last High Standard run of these guns, and utilized an allen screw barrel takedown. I have found one book that says "a few SH were made with push button". Is this a "few" hundred, thousand? I'm a regular at gun shows and have never seen another SH Victor with the push button.
Any info or thoughts on value(like new, with box/papers) would be appreciated

  There were a total of 23,000 sh models sold the ones with the push button marked sh were leftover frames that were rejects from years past.They may be rare but I don't think they will bring a big price because most collectors and shooters of HIGH STANDARDS look down on any sh model as quality was the pitts.

  not rare. its a leftover parts gun. just curious...does it have a V suffix in the serial number too? i/e: SH1,999,345V

  No "V" suffix. SH32,XXX. I also own a 106 Supermatic Trophy with the high polish finish that I bought in 1967. Kind of sad to see the deterioration of quality from that earlier version to the SH. The 106 is still a thing of beauty and outshoots all of my other target .22's ( 2 S&W 41, 107 Victor, Ruger MKII Bull). But, in all fairness to the poorly made SH Victor, it does shoot well and doesn't jam like the 41's.

  quality on SH guns was hit or miss. your SH may very well serve you just fine, but some dont. hi std was into sub contracting when SH's were made, thus the drop in quality.
