Rem 40 X 22 WRF

Remington M-40X in 22 WRF medium heavy barrel, single shot, with checkered factory stock with aluminum buttplate. With Factory letter dated 1989. Made for military contract in 1964 (24 made. Receiver has 22 WRF on left side, barrel marked 22 WRF (hand stamped after Remington legend)
Not kidding. Any idea what this might be worth??

  It's really hard to say what it would be worth. I'm a die hard Remington 22 collector and this is even to far off the norm to be a rifle that I would go nuts over to have in my collection. I'd give you a grand for it, but I think it's worth more.
