How many were made????

I just bought a special limited edition Ruger M77 Mark II. It is chambered in 7.62x39 with the older style stock.


I am wondering how limited this run was.

  I think this was done for Davidson's some years ago. You might give them a call. I would guess 500 but don't remember for sure.

  Hey RG,
  Yeah im not 100% sure either, but I believe that Davidson made 500 or around that number of them. Many people hate this style of stock, but i absolutely love it. It's unique, a tad lighter, and it's a Ruger!!! I have a .243 with this skeleton stock and I would have to say it's my favorite gun I own. Great pickup RG!

  Just found out that there were only 62 made in this run for Davidsons in the 7.62x39 caliber.
  
  The inserts are my own from Lett's.
