Romanian Differences

Any dif from the WASR-10 and the SAR-1? I cant tell if there is a difference or not. any input would be appreciated

  the wars 10 usually takes a single stack mag, but some have been modified to take a double i think.
  
  first rule of northern militia is that we don't talk about northern militia.

  Dimples man dimples.
  
  The SAR1 has dimples above the mag well to keep the mag from moving side to side. The WASR10 has inserts welded into the mag well to serve the same purpose.
  
  The SAR1 came from Romania with the ability to accept double stack mags. The WASR (internet rumor?) comes accross the ocean with a magwell that will accept single stack mags and then are cut by monkeys at Century to accept double stack mags.
  
  I have one (durring ban) sample of each. The WASR is a little cruder than the SAR1 and required me to file on the mag well clean it up. I'm tempted to buy a no ban WASR10. Neither my SAR1 nor WASR10 will accept a bayonet.
