.22LR Dynapoints??

Try as I might, I cannot find data. Even on the WW site. I am hoping this is standard vel bulk pack stuff. How does it perfor for you - reliable? accurate? vel?

    the winchester dynapoints are 1 of the best bulk ammos out there.too find all the info you want about dynapoints try this site.www.rimfirecentral.com great site.hope this helps don

    I recently picked up a box of 500 at WalMart for $9.99. I have not tried it yet, but I did notice the hollow points are not uniform. Some resemble a small dimple, some look like it is not even a HP. I have been buying the Federal bulk pack of 550 for $8.69 and the Remington Golden bullet 550 pack for $8.89. Both of these are copper plated HP's and look much better than the Dynapoints. I have had real good accuracy and have never had a Federal or Remington misfire. IMO, the Remington and Federal are a better deal. 50 more rounds of a better made bullet at a lower cost. I'll burn through the Dynapoints, but will probably stick with the Rems and Feds in the future. Compare the 3 bullets for yourself, you'll see what I am talking about.

    I wish I could still get the Remington bulk pack deal. I can't find them that cheap anymore. Shooting Federals voids the warranty on one of my rifles, so I don't buy them.

    Since when does shooting Federal ammo void a rifle's warranty?

    I thought this was " ask the experts" so far I haven't gotten any data at all. Is it standard or high speed? is it reliable? what is its vel out of a rifle? a pistol? If you do not know - clam up

    It's high velocity and supposed to be excellent out of most guns. I'm still trying to get some. The velocity is comparable to the other Win HV loads--in fact my understanding is that they simply bulk pack one of them, but I've never been able to substantiate it.

    The Dynapoints are a high performance 22LR projectile. It is 40 gr. The front half of the bullet is of a different alloy than the rear. The front is supposed to mushroom out MORE like a traditional jacketed lead bullet. I first saw them at the Vegas SHOT show three years ago. Have not seen/heard anything since?????

    It is designed for hunting. Competition for CCI's 'Velocitor' 22LR ammo. Full 40 gr at high velocity (apprx 1400 fps).

    MBSAMS, This is "Ask the Experts" and it looks to me like you have gotten a bunch of data/opinions on the ammo you asked about. Real good info from easygo. I learned something about the Dynapoints on this thread. 1400 FPS is smoking and the fact that two different metals used in the bullet makes me reconsider the HP not being uniform. I will try them this weekend and see how they print out of my bull barrel Model 7000 and follow up with some target pics.
