ruger m77 mark 2 270

hello everyone,

i'm here to ask for some assistance. (duh [;)] )

i've got a ruger m77 mark 2 .270 cal hunting rifle that i recieved as gift oh around 13 yrs ago. the problem is after all this time i dont do much hunting anymore and dont forsee any in the next few years atleast.

i'm hoping someone can assist me in setting a fair price for this gun.

the gun is in very good shape, it has a one scratche on the wood and one on the end of the barrel that i've noticed. i've fired less than 50 rounds thru it since i've owned it (i dont know if my dad or younger brother used it while i was away from home in the military though). it has a mounted simmons deerfield 3-9x32 scope, leather sling and a hard plastic gun boot that will go with it.

it has a 28" barrell with 43-1/2" overall length.

any assistance is greatly appreciated.

  CHECK THE AUCTIONS HERE, USED IT SHOULD BRING +-$300 .

  Im with Mr. Whiskey should be $300-350 range . There are some that like the top tang safety as opposed to the three position style now.

  I myself have an M77 mark II .270, but it is the stainless steel barrel and the sythetic stock, I have been offered upwards of $500 for this piece, but yours sounds like it doesen't have all the bells and whistles.. $300-400 is a fair price
