Importing guns?

Do antique guns fall under the same importing laws as modern day guns? Talking 1860 and below.

  No. Importation of firearms is under the jurisdiction of BATFE, & they consider antique firearms to be "non-guns". You still have to pay import duty on them.
  
  State/local laws may still prohibit them.
