38/200 same as 38 S&W ?

I picked up a Victory S&W 5" British model and want to know if I can safely shoot 38 S&W with it. I know it was designed for the 38/200. Is the 38S&W OK ? Also was the ejector spring loaded on this model? Mine just slides back and forth...TIA...Joe

  SAME AS?-NO, INTERCHANGABLE WITH?-YES SAME CASE DIFFERENT LOADING.

  The 38 S&W will work fine. I have shot them for years in my Enfield revolver.

  The ejector spring was installed just as any other 38 Military and Police.
