Yes I have a 1909 straight bolt German Mauser. It's a long rifle and in very good condition. Has all the German markings for that Ara on it. Was wondering if anyone could estimate what it might be wroth. Any help I would be very grateful for. Thanks

i have a 1942 husqavqrna swedish mauser 6.55x55 the bore and rifle is in near mint condition the handle on the bolt is curved along the side of the rifle it has matching numbers looking for an approximate value thank you john 0 -
The Yugo 24/47's are intermediate length receivers. They were originally fabricated in Belgium as the FN Model 24. Later production of rifles with similar dimensions were done at the Kragujevac Arsenal as the Model 48. Their dimensions are smaller then the Czech and German rifles also used by the Yugoslavs which are based on the M 98 action.
You will have to get parts specifically made for either the FN 24 or the Yugo M 48.

Aside from bolt demensions and function the 24/47 is akin to the small ring mausers. Action screw placement and such is very similar to M96 swedes and such. But the front ring diameter is a true large ring spec as are the barrel threads. What are you trying to do to it and what parts are you trying to get for it? 0 -
Front ring diameter is large ring(series 3). So, if buying a barrel that is what you need. If you need other parts, most will be specific to that model, i.e. bolt (not the same as '98, it's shorter), stock, barrel bands.
