I just read an artical about the new .325WSM anybody have any experiance with them.

I've worked with and shot all of the WSM's, RSAUM's and the WSSM's, some in the form of wildcats before the factory released them as industry supported. I'm currently campaigning 2 different shorty cartridges for long range competitions.
The 325 WSM was the 2nd wildcat that I did on the 300 WSM case right after it was released just because I had an 8mm neck and throat reamer. I liked it then and I like it now, just because it's different and it does a good job in the field. It isn't a target cartridge but it makes for a real good short, light carry rifle potent enough for elk and bear if you so choose. That's as simple as it gets, it does what it's supposed to do with no muss, fuss or mess. Think of it as an addition to any of the other rifles that you currently shoot, not as a replacement.

I just finished one for a friend that shoots factory 180 BST into way less than 3/4 at 100. Just now working on the new 200gr Accubond in it, so far it's a darn good one. Havn't had any thing to shoot but ground hogs yet, and they don't like it much [:D]

very little ballistic advantage over the .300 wsm in the 180-200grain range

I can only say I'm very interested in them being an 8mm fan. It should bring a little more variety to bullet selection and more power in a fast short turning bolt.
We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>0
