S&W 357 Registered Magnum
I am in need of information on the "registered" .357 magnum revolver Smith & Wesson put out in the 1930's. Any information on identification, barrel lengths, and general values with or without the original certificate would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any input you may provide.

Registered Smith & Wesson Magnums were made for individual customers and "Registered" to them with a certificate.
Barrel lengths ran from 3 1/2" up to 8 3/4". These guns are highly collectable and usually bring in the thousands of dollars. Guns with their orginal certificates bring a premium over guns without them.
These guns were made from 1935 to 1939 with a production of 5,224.
