Interchanging Colt w/ S&W stocks
Pictured is an old Colt with what appear to be S&W stocks. Would this have been a simple thing to do, or was adjustment required?

It doesn't looks really bad. Some grip fitting would be necesary. I had the same trouble with Taurus grips to a Colt. What I learned is that wood tends to shrink a little after refinishing (?)
Anyway it looks pretty good. Luck!
