Range Ammo
Anyone got a suggestion on what a good clean ammo to use on a .45 in the range. Something fairly clean and good for just shooting at the range?

I shoot a lot of winchester white box in 9mm, its reasonably clean and makes for good range ammo. I think its about $10 give or take for a box of 50 rounds of .45ACP. T

Well kind of a personal thing of mine is to clean everytime I shoot, no matter how many rounds are fired. I normally shoot about 100rds and then clean my pistol, its not usually very dirty and could probably shoot a lot more without worrying about having a malfunction, I just like my stuff clean when finished.

gotcha. I hear some people putting in a few thousand and then cleaning. I use wolf for my AK cuz it would shoot a rocks all day if you could find the right casing Just wondering what kind of cleaner round there is out there. God is good. God is great.

Generally best to clean a pistol at least once every 500 or so rounds. Some guns are fitted so tightly that they might not want to run well dirty. If nothing else, most guns can still use some oil.
I consider White Box not particularly clean, but it shoots good. Most places have one or two range ammo offerings such as Winchester or CCI or Remington UMC.

anything that isnt lead will be clean. shoot a jacketed bullet. im assuming you mean clean as no lead depoists in the grooves? or do you mean clean powder after fired? clean your gun every day! make a GM happy!

Sellier and Bellot makes cheap accurate and clean shooting ammo also suitable for reloading and it is quite cheap. Just a suggestion.
