fair selling price for a few longguns
I had a uncle who passed away a few months ago and my aunt wants me to sell off a few of his guns.1. thompson center hawkin muzzleloader, it looks to be in perfect condition. 2. Ithica feather lite 12ga. plain barrel no checkering on stock 95% condition. 3. Savage combo model 24 (no letterlisted, series 5?) .22 mag over 20ga. casehardened reciever , checkered monti-carlo stock with spacer and fore end. 90%. thanks for any help!

I will offer a suggestion on the Hawkin, at a shop it will not bring much due to most people wanting in-lines. We quit buying side hammer muzzle loaders due to the fact you cannot resale them. You will be luckey to get $75 dollars at a shop. Now offer it for sale here on GB auctions and it will do much better. There are still people out there that want them and gB is one way of reaching them IMHO. Side hammer muzzle loaders do really well on here IMHO.
As to values, look at past auctions of the same guns here on GB auction to get a feel as to what they are bringing. You can browse past auctions with the search engine. Just some advice on finding out what they are worth. Another thing is condition of th guns which effects value. Also post pictures of them for a others to see the condition so as to give their opinions as to values. Hope this helps.

I sold one of the savages recently on auction and it went for about $325. Is the Ithica a model 37?

You got good advice on the TC Hawken. The shops here are lined with them, don't take more and will sell cheaply them to move them out. 0 -
