Changing stocks

When putting a used stock on a differnt action do I need to bed the action to the new stock? If so how do i do this?

    I am putting a rem 700 adl 22-250 into a rem 700 bdl stock both stocks are wood

    My experience with Rem. 700's has for years been , glas- bedding always helps the accuracy . Sometimes accuracy is acceptable without it , but 98% of them are much better in accuracy after being properly bedded in Epoxy and adjusting the trigger while its apart. Most of the time scraping out the ridge of wood they leave in the forearm tip ,so that it is free floating also aids accuracy.
    Once it is bedded and floated the impact point of the bullet doesnt change with humidity and climate like many do.
    If you dont have the know how, take it to a good gunsmith. It is well worth doing.

    While it's not totally necessary it is a good idea to glass bed them with Accuglas Gel, instructions are included to do the job.
    Just make sure that they don't bind up anywhere at all if you don't bed it.

    Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
