Who makes 10mm cal handguns?
I've only noticed a few makes, so far. Also, are there any wheelguns in this caliber?

Smith and Wesson offered a 10 mm wheel gun. Might do a search to see what you can come up with. 0 -
S&W still makes the 610, but only in a 3 7/8" version. Used to make a 5" and a 6.5"
current 10mm autos that come to mind are Glock, Kimber, Springfield, and Tangfolio-EAA.

Tanfoglio makes a 10mm auto, imported by European American Arms, that goes by the name "Witness".
Its a bargain for under $400 new, plus caliber conversions are available to swap the gun easily to .22LR, 9mm luger, 38 super (also works with 9x23), .40 S&W, and .45 ACP for only $200 each (sometimes less).
I've heard the guns are undersprung, and will batter less if you swap out the stock spring for a heavier one.
If you get one, try the silver "wonderfinish", which is sort of like an uncolored version of the black "Tennifer" finish on Glocks, and extremely tough.
10mm is a very good round, but a handful! The non-wussified loads exceed the .357 magnum in muzzle energy, with a heavier bullet and nice flat 1300+ fps ballistics. You can think of it as a 40S&W +P. (Which makes sense since the 40S&W is basically just a tamed-down version of the 10mm).

The FBI issues GLOCK 22 .40 cals to its agents now. They still issue their own varient of the HK MP5 in 10mm.

To clarify, I've heard that the Tanfoglio Witness 10mms are undersprung. Apparently they'll shoot the spent casings like 30 feet! That, and the slide and frame will probably endure less battering if you swap the stock factory spring for a heavier one.
By the way, I think I forgot to mention in my last post that 10mm ammo is astronomically expensive and most of the factory loads are downloaded because (suprise) the full round is too much for a lot of people. So if you really want to get good performance out of this gun, or shoot a lot of it, you basically have to reload.
Going off on a tangent, when are people going to realize that *NO* handgun is great at stopping people, and that the ones that are pretty good at it are (not coincidentally) a lot more powerful than the average schmoe wants to hand.0 -
Here are three older N frame S&Ws.
The top one is a .357 27-2
The middle a early 6 1/2" fluted cylinder 10mm 610 with combat grips.
Bottom is a .45acp model of 1950.
The 610 is a hard shooter and can also fire .40 cal. ammunition. It uses moonclips and I find that very handy and quick.
The 1950 also uses moonclips and is a pleasure to shoot. They all shoot like they had eyes. I would find it difficult to pick just one.
S&W still makes the 610 with rubber grips and 4" barrel. The older ones can still be found on the auctions.

MRB, If I am not mistaken, I think Colt made a 10mm years ago called a "Delta Elite". I think quite a few law enforcement agencies went to them and had a bunch of complaints from the officers. They had feeding issues and were not as reliable as promised. I'm not sure if Colt discontinued them, but I really do not hear much about them anymore.
