winchester scopes update 5-17-05
does any one know the manufacture of the winchester logo scopes? the new ones that have been out a few years. i found one sight that said leapers built the scopes. i emailed them and they are not the manufactures. just wondering if they are any good. dont every body start telling me to buy a certain brand. every gun i own right now has burris signature optics. except for a 22. just wondering what they are like since i like winchester firearms.
found out vanguard makes them i have never heard of this manufactur either. their in tiwan

I had one on a Contender for a short period of time,sold the Contender and the scope,but it worked very well for me.I'd buy another one if I found a good deal on it,just my .02 0 -
I have one with winchester on it says herters on it also tks hedge 0 -
Herter's was the Cabela's of its day. They also did not build scopes, but contracted them made with their name. 0
