Hi-standard derringer

I recently acquired a Hi-standard derringer in .22 magnum cal. The gun has ser #SP484 indicating it is silver plated. It has pearlite grips and comes in a walnut presentation case. Is there any collector value to this firearm? It is in excellent condition.

  Quite collectible. If it's mint, it's easily worth $500 or more. Even used, it's still worth several hundred.

  I have 2 of them in 22 magnum caliber.I carry one in each front pocket of my shorts in the summer time.Kinda hard to hide a 357 snubbie in your cutoffs in hot weather.Even thou it is a rifle cartridge,it still packs alot of punch out of a short barrel.Also in a jam,you can fire them without even taking them out of your pockets.I have owned one of them for 24 years without a single problem with it.
