357sig 1911 barrels
After much internal debate, I decided it's time to start building a 1911 in .357sig. I noticed though that Ed Brown quit producing their barrels in .357sig, or at least they don't list them anymore. Are there any other manufacturers who produce 1911 barrels chambered for this? Thanks in advance.

Hi Perry,
Brownells has had that item listed as 'dropped by factory' for awhile now, which I'm assuming is more up to date than the paperbound catalog, which still has has it listed as available. I'm going to call them this afternoon in hopes that their web catalog is incorrect. Thanks for the feedback.0 -
You can rechamber a 9mm barrel.
Since you have the long 1911 action why not look at the 9x23?
That really cooks and makes major power.0
