Taurus Model 445/Ribber grips
Does anyone know where I can get some aftermarket grips for the 445? I have checked at the local shops, Midway, Brownells and none seem to be available. The ribber grips that came with it are fine for absorbing recoil, but seem to be "sticky" with clothing. I would like to get a set of hard plastic or at least smooth plastic for a faster draw. Any info/links appreciated.

I'm not too fond of the Ribber grips on my Taurus 415 either. I just ordered Taurus Rubber grips for the compact frame revolver, hoping they're a bit more compact and less clingy (Taurus' web site advertises them at $18 + shipping). I just read about recently-introduced Hogue grips for compact frame Taurus revolvers. The author stated they run about $25.
