Remington VS-SF vs. VS-SF II

I'm debating between these two models in a .22-250, and I was curious if the differences between these two models are purely asthetic (palm swells and black coating in the flutes on the VS-SF II) or if there are other differences? If everything else is the same, I'd have to say I personally prefer the looks of the VS-SF. Thanks.

  same rifle, cosmetic differences. Buy the one that is the better price unless the dual swivels are an issue and the palm swell fits you better.
  
  why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
