SKS Trigger
Does anybody know of a modification or aftermarket parts to improve the trigger pull on these?

Old topic, I know but maybe somebody has a better idea.
Frustrated with my Russian Tula SKS. Had trigger work done and put Wolf springs in all of my SKS's. Yugo came out fantastic. My Russian Tula is smooth, very little creep but still feels like it needs three men and a small boy to squeeze it. Wondering if I missed something or if there is a lighter but still reliable trigger spring available.

This guy specializes in SAFE, ( just polishing the parts "TO MUCH" and putting in Wolff springs, "MIGHT" cause safety problems ) SKS trigger jobs.

For those of you that didn't see what rufe-snow said ... pay attention! quote:just polishing the parts "TO MUCH" and putting in Wolff springs, "MIGHT" cause safety problems2-3 years ago we had a guy out at our club range that had done a "home trigger-job" on his SKS ... From what I remember, his wife had been shooting it at the bench, from across the bench he reloaded it with a stripper clip ~ she wasn't holding the weapon securely and when he pulled the stripper-clip from the bolt it fell over and fired, then went into a slam-fire mode ... recoil pushed it off the back of the bench and she was shot in the back 3-4 times at near point-blank range.
The sherriff's investigation was able to duplicate the accident and the guy was cleared ... but it didn't bring his wife back
BTW - We take safety very seriously, our club was established in 1957 and this was our first and only shooting..
