colt diamondback 22 6 inch nickle
I'm thinking about selling a Colt diamondback 6 inch 22 cal pistol with nickle finish, I know they made very few of these guns and the blue books pricing is off on all the diamondbacks. So I was just looking for some advice on what the going price on this gun would be. It is in about 98 % condition with no box or paperwork.

List it with no reserve and you will get the true value.

You are Right... It is very hard to find one at blue book. I was just discussing that fact with My gunshow buddies the other day. We all feel that these along with other Colt revolvers are the best deals out there even at the inflated price. Unless you like really need the klinkies, I'd hold off on selling this piece. But you do what you gotta do! 0 -
The last one I saw up for sale went for $1,200
Would I pay that for one ... NO! But there are those that will, and then some.
Put it up for auction, set the starting price at what your willing to take (worst case) and let 'er rip.

Six inch nickle .22 Diamondbacks are, as you know, rare. However, with no box or papers and 98% condition, you might be disappointed at the price you can get. The above posters were correct; put it up with no reserve and see what it brings. -Asa 0 -
I have never used a reserve price,but in your case I'd sure consider it.I agree with Contender Man price it at what you want to get (no less) for it. [:)] 0
