TC Encore G2 and Contender barrels

Do all TC barrels fit the ENCORE receiver? What are the differences in the TC receiver models?

  The proper response is all Encore barrels fit Encore receivers [frames]. Encore pistol and rifle frames are the same design. Pistol frames come with a pistol grip and forearm and the Rifle frames come with a butt stock and rifle forearm but the frames themselves are essentially interchangeable. I'm not certain about the legality of making a pistol from a rifle receiver or vice versa. Encore frames are considerably larger than Contender and G2 frames thus the ability to fire high pressure rifle cartridges. Contender barrels fit Contender and G2 frames. G2 frames are an updated/modified version of the orginal Contender frame

  the G2 is the new contender frame , it has nothing to do with the Encore.
  
  any encore barrel will fit on any encore frame and it does not matter what the gun started out as, you just have to make sure that you do not put the rifle stock on the receiver along with a barrel that is shorter than 16"
  
  all the older Contender barrels are suppose to fit on the new G2 frame but you may find some of the really old barrels that need some fitting done to them .
  the only new barrel that will not interchange is the 45 cal black powder barrel that comes with the G2 frame , it will not fit on the older frames

  Also, the grips for each is different from the other. And the Encore forend will not work with Contender or G2 barrels. The Contender and G2 forends will interchange, but neither (to me) looks all that good with the other frame (Contender to G2 or G2 to Contender).
