Trade in value for Glock 23

I have a Glock 23 that is exactly Ten Years Old this month. I bought it used and it is obviously a police trade in with holster wear showing on the slide and an LE Only stamped Hi Cap Mag. I have fired about 500 rounds through it myself and it shoots great with absolutely no problems. I am about to trade it in on a brand new Glock 23 and wondered if any one could give me a rough estimate as to what I should expect for trade in value. Thanks for your help.

    Yikes!!! I think it should be worth more than that unless the wear is really apparent. I don't have the blue book to pull and check however.

    According to a local shop I frequent , I was quoted the same thing as richbug has stated. I wanted a newer model in 10mm but will hang on to my 23.

    yes that is about what you would get for trade in value but the thing to do is sell it on GB or do a private sale in your home area if your state laws allow it , you should be able to get around 350 for it that way

    If you are not in a rush, look into putting it on Consignment at the shop. Used Glocks run about $400 to $450 in my area.

    Wow! Let me see, a very collectable ten year old police trade, with visible holster wear, and at least 500 rounds thru it; don't settle for anything less than full retail value. [:o)] Realistically, on a trade-in I would say $150 to $200 and feel good about it.

    $250 is a reasonable figure.

    List it on GB no reserve and I bet you will get at least $320

    Trade in value is roughly 20-30% less the cost of a new gun. A worn gun is hard sell even if hasn't been shot much. Go with consignment and keep the price down especially with summer coming. I'd mark it $375.
