1927 No 8 Castell revolver ??

I have an old revolver marked No 8 Castell 1927 frescia. It appears to be 44 cal. 3.5" barrel. I can't find anything like it in the gun books. Any ideas or information?

This looks like a 10.35mm Italian Service revolver.
Some made by Glisenti at Brescia.

Excellent quality photo, it helps alot.

Your revolver is a Model 1889 Italian Army Revolver. It was made in 1927 by the Castelli Co, located in Bresica Italy.

The cartridge it's chambered for is 10.35 Italian Military Revolver Cartridge. The ammo is still available, as Fiocchi still loads it commerically in Italy, although it's expensive to buy here in the U.S.
