M48 Sling Question
I've just purchased a Yugo M48 with all the good bits,but can't figure out how to attach the sling at the butt end.
Does the strap go though the slot in the stock,from the left, around a pin and back out? Like on an M1 Carbine. If so the slot is too small as there isn't enough room for two passes. Also I think there would be a pin.
Or is the slack just taken up and remains on the right side? Not very neat though. Lots of excess flopping around.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
